Flat rooftop PV for a Kraków aquapark
When the owners of a Polish leisure centre decided to boost their renewable energy share, they used novotegra. Now, the site is enjoying a significant drop in CO2 emissions.
Kraków, Poland
Setting the scene
FitPark Park Wodny is a 1000 m2 gym and aquapark in Kraków. Its owners saw they could do more to optimise their use of energy and embrace renewables using rooftop photovoltaic modules. From an earlier installation on their other property, a hotel, they knew novotegra were the right partners to call.
Meeting the challenges
The park’s gravel roof was an uncommon site in Poland, but our Solar-Planit software let us easily plan our approach. Our teams got to work and the project was completed without a hitch.
The result
Park Wodny now produces 50 kWp of renewable energy. This result goes a long way towards meeting the owners’ long-term climate ambitions.
"The novotegra system has adapted to each of our properties with no issues. It gives us that sense of reliability when we need it most on projects of this size.”
