Energy generation of the future – solar system sets new standards

Successful installation on a noise barrier saves 223.56 kg CO2 per day

The installation was carried out on a noise barrier along a highway. The goal was to use this area for the generation of renewable energy and to contribute to the reduction of CO₂.

Setting the scene

The customer wanted to save more energy and protect the environment. This was made possible by the novotegra clamp system for trapezoidal metal roofs. The solar system was installed on a noise barrier with a module area of 1,077.92 m². The total output of the system is 223.56 kWp.

Meeting the challenges

The challenge was the special structure of the noise barrier. The integration of the solar system had to be carried out considering static requirements and wind load.

The result

Thanks to the quick implementation by Impact Solar AG and the use of novotegra modules, the project was successfully completed. The system saves 223.56 kg of CO₂ every day and makes a significant contribution to sustainable energy production.
