Two systems cleverly combined

Solar power solution for the Varyáda shopping center in Karlovy Vary

Thanks to a clever combination of the novotegra flat roof systems East-West II and South II, even the challenging orientation of a shopping center building could be optimally solved.

A powerful photovoltaic system with 940 kWp was installed in the Czech shopping center Varyáda, implemented by the experienced installation company Energy Control Systems. The aim of the project was to create a reliable and efficient solar power solution that would sustainably support the shopping center's high energy requirements.

Both the novotegra mounting systems Flat roof II east-west and Flat roof II south were used, which were optimally combined with each other. The unfavorable building orientation posed a particular challenge: the roof surfaces did not correspond to the ideal module orientation, which required precise planning and flexible installation. Thanks to an intelligent adaptation—the alignment of the module rows directly on the roof and the combination of both types of substructures—the challenge was successfully solved.

The result is an efficient PV system that enables high energy yields despite difficult conditions and demonstrates how flexible and powerful novotegra system solutions are.
