Sunny heights: PV system defies steep beavertail roof
Innovative solutions for sustainable energy in challenging terrain
A 23.46 kWp photovoltaic system with 69 modules was successfully installed on a steep beavertail gable roof in Stuttgart-Degerloch.
Stuttgart, Germany
In Stuttgart-Degerloch, an impressive photovoltaic system has been installed on a picturesque beavertail saddleback roof. The PV system, consisting of 69 modules with a total output of 23.46 kWp, was mounted on a tiled roof using the top-fix insertion system from novotegra.
The installation presented the team with a number of challenges. Not only was the roof very steep, but it also required split module fields in order to make optimal use of the available space. Thanks to initial mounting support on site from novotegra colleagues, the system was successfully installed.
Now the homeowners are enjoying the advantages of their new PV system and are pleased with their newfound independence. The sun shines on the shiny modules, which produce clean energy day after day and contribute to a sustainable future.
