Sustainable electricity production with the novotegra east-west green roof system

In Geldermalsen, Netherlands, a PV system with 284 modules was installed on a green roof. The novotegra system impressed with its quick installation and high efficiency.

An extraordinary photovoltaic project was created on a green roof in Geldermalsen, Netherlands. For the end customer Hobru Wegenonderhoud BV, the installation company Sterk Elektrotechniek BV installed a system with 284 DMECG 460 Wp modules – at a total height of eight metres. The novotegra east-west green roof system was used, which was installed in just one and a half days.

After only a few months, the first plants appeared around the modules, turning the roof into a real green energy supplier. The initial installation was supported by the experienced team from BayWa r.e., which ensured smooth implementation.

The result: an economically viable and technically convincing solution that has met the customer's expectations.
