Pioneering photovoltaic solution on the flat roof of production halls in Brandýs nad Labem
The installation company aimed to significantly reduce the energy consumption of the expansive commercial buildings and help its client increase self-sufficiency and independence from energy suppliers.

Setting the scene
Insight Energy s.r.o. became the first installation company to use novotegra’s flat roof III solution in its project. The planning and implementation period for this installation took a total of 2.5 years.
Meeting the challenges
The most challenging aspect of this project was undoubtedly the insufficient structural stability of the building. This issue was successfully addressed by novotegra's technicians with the help of the Solar-Planit configurator. During installation, new power cabling was also needed to transmit the generated output to a distant production hall.
The result
The complex where the project was implemented includes three large roofs covering a total area of 3960 m². The outcome is an energy self-sufficient building with a total installed power of 474 kWp. This solution can save a total of 460 tons of CO2 per year, amounting to 11,500 tons over 25 years. High-quality technical support from novotegra played a key role in the success of this Flat Roof III pilot project.
