Self-sufficient solar power for warehouse Korneuburg

A 300 kWp east-west PV system brings energy independence to a warehouse

Warehouse Korneuburg now generates sustainable energy for self-sufficiency with a 300 kWp east-west PV system mounted on its flat roof, planned using Solar-Planit and supported by novotegra.

Setting the scene

Warehouse Korneuburg faced the challenge of high energy demand and sought a reliable, self-sustaining solution. With a flat roof ideal for PV installation, the responsible stakeholders decided to go with a 300 kWp pv east-west system designed to maximize energy capture throughout the day. The goal was clear: achieve energy independence and reduce operational costs. Using novotegra’s mounting solution combined with the free initial mounting support and planning, the project was set up for efficiency and future expansion.

Meeting the challenges

An initial mounting support from novotegra’s team provided key insights, ensuring smooth setup and integration of the system with the building’s layout. The project, executed with Solar- Planit, optimized the PV layout to ensure balanced, high-yield energy production on the flat roof.

The result

The completed installation of the 300 kWp system transformed the warehouse Korneuburg into a largely self-sufficient operation. The east-west orientation allows for consistent energy production throughout the day, meeting a significant portion of the warehouse’s energy demands.

“Efficient setup, seamless integration, and a huge step toward our energy independence!”
