Setting the scene

Rising electricity prices and the desire for energy independence led a family in Berg-Bütgenbach to switch to pv power. The goal: more self-consumption with lower electricity costs – and all of it on their garage roof.

Meeting the challenges

Planned and installed by Wiesen Piront with a result that speaks for itself: each solar module fits perfectly on 44 m² of roof space, ensuring optimal energy yield. The novotegra flat roof II system with a south-facing setup was used for the installation. This mounting system impressed with its easy handling, high stability and safety, and quick, uncomplicated installation. This allowed the project to be completed not only efficiently but also reliably.

Result

With a capacity of 5,04 kWp, the system covers a significant portion of the household’s self-consumption and noticeably reduces electricity costs. Additionally, it saves 2,68 tons of CO₂ annually – good for both the environment and the wallet. An investment that pays off in more ways than one.
