Setting the scene

The planning and actual implementation of this large project took a total of 3 months. The installation took place on several roofs of a production and warehouse hall for the automotive industry under very strict requirements of the investor.

Meeting the challenges

The project was challenging for the installation company due to the low static load capacity of the roof and the obstacles on the roof. These challenges were effectively solved with the Solar-Planit configurator.

Result

Taking into account the low load capacity of the roof and the customer's requirement for a quick implementation, this project was very successful. The installation covers the main consumption of the building, motivating a further 1.5 MWp of capacity. This project saves 350 kg of CO₂per day.
